Festive activities and surprises for children from 19/12 to 4/1

For the second consecutive year, Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia” is transforming into a festive destination, hosting an expanded Christmas Village filled with surprises and activities for children. From 19 December to 4 January, young visitors can participate in themed arts and crafts sessions and hands-on holiday workshops, all available for free on the Departures Level.

At the heart of this year’s Christmas Village is the “Santa Claus House”, a warm and colourful space where children can meet Santa up close, take photos with him, and hand him their Christmas letters. Throughout the holiday period, children will also have the opportunity to create their own Christmas cards, get festive face painting, and dance along with the impressive stilt walker who will be setting the holiday mood.

A specially designed photobooth will also be available in the Christmas Village, providing visitors of all ages the opportunity to capture their own festive moments. With Christmas backdrops and fun props, it promises joyful and memorable photos for everyone.

Fraport Greece continues its tradition of bringing the holiday spirit to Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia”, creating a space open to all travellers and city residents alike. The aim is for the airport to once again become a place of celebration, joy, and creativity during the festive season.
