Christmas activations at Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia" were completed with great success

More than 3,000 travellers visited "Santa Claus’ House”

This year, Christmas activations at Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia" welcomed a large turnout of passengers, transforming the space into a lively and welcoming festive destination for travellers and residents of the city.

From December 19 to January 4, visitors of all ages had the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities at the revamped Christmas village, set up on the airport’s departures level. At the heart of the village was “Santa Claus’ House”, where children delivered their letters, created Christmas cards, and had their picture taken with Santa Claus. At the same time, face painting workshops, creative crafts, and entertaining stilt walkers added a special touch to the festive atmosphere, while visitors captured happy Christmas memories in the specially designed photo booth.

The public response exceeded all expectations, with more than 3,000 visitors stopping by Santa Claus’ House to enjoy the warm atmosphere. The activations offered travellers an enjoyable Christmas experience, while reinforcing Fraport Greece's commitment to promoting Thessaloniki as a vibrant and welcoming destination.
